Located in a stand-alone site, the client’s brief was to design an outdoor pool pavilion and ‘mancave’ where he would entertain his visitors without having to use the main house. The location of the structure within the stand sits on a raised platform overlooking the pool area with a braai area and fire pit (boma). The design is a simple form finished in natural timber cladding and large glass openings.
